Hey all,
This website (edition 4.0) is dedicated to my loving
family and awesome friends back home. I miss you all and hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse of life here at the Academy.
PS. I created this site last year...haven't updated it since...last April...until
now!

When someone finds out I attend
school at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy the first question that pops out of their mouth is, "So do you like it there?".
To which I immediately reply, "It's um....challenging...".
Truthfully, being here is not fun, happy, encouraging, or in any way enjoyable. Living the
life as a Midshipman at a U.S. Service Academy is never worth liking. However, even after saying that, I know I would never
want to be anywhere but here. I know this place will not only educate and teach me to be a professional officer in our armed
forces, but it will also make me into a better man. So for now I endure the hardships of living in what we like to call our
"Minimum Security Prison". The United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Tell me you were here! Even if you did tell me again!

The Mission of the United States Merchant Marine Academy
-Is to educuate and graduate professional
officers and leaders of honor and integrity, who are dedicated to serving the economic and defensive interests of the United
States in our Armed Forces and Merchant Marine, and who will contribute to an intermodal transportations system that
effectively ties America together.
My mission
-Is to be "...Strong in the grace that
is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier (or sailor in my case) of Jesus Christ." (2 Timothy 2:1-3) Minus the soldier
part these verses are my mission, to stay strong in Christ, tell others about God's great love, and to serve others as a servant
of Christ.
